Living Water

Loyal, Women of Royal Distinction

With your eyes you have witnessed, the Glory of the Lord,
You have sought out what is known to be good and true,
Allowing your inner self to glow,
Displaying the gentle spirit in you and you and you.

Committed, Women of Royal Distinction

Your beliefs are in a Living God,
A God of love and Holy bliss,
A God who will lead you to His throne,
A God who will lead you to righteousness.

Empowered, Women of Royal Distinction

May your souls always say; yes,
To sharing God’s word,
To those that you know and to one’s you haven’t met,
And with the Christ given authority,
May you teach the ones who don’t know Him yet; soon but, not yet.

Diligent, Women of Royal Distinction

And I quote:
You have held up your bibles,
And you are who it says you are,
You do,
What it tells you to do,
And you live,
The way it tells you to live.

Courageous, Women of Royal Distinction

Because of your thirst, you have drunk,
His Living Water,
You have accepted eternal life,
And now His word is within you,
To share with every son and every daughter.

Praying, Women of Royal Distinction

The Living Water of which I speak,
He offers to all even the mild and meek,
And who ever decides to drink from the Lamb,
Is now a child of the great, “I Am”,
You’ll thirst no more for your lips are still wet,
Remember well, He’s not done with you yet, not yet.

And Still I Rise

I am a woman

I’m a woman of royal distinction,
Created with God’s love and beauty.
He protects me with His goodness and grace,
And I have vowed to Him my loyal duty.
I am rising

I am a woman

I’m a woman filled with spiritual wisdom,
I have risen from the chains that bound me,
I am diligent, strong and trustworthy,
As I grow into what God wants me to be.
I’m still rising

I am a woman

I’m a woman, who holds life in balance,
My life is not my own,
“Use me oh Lord as I endeavor,”
As I pray to make heaven my eternal home.
And Still I rise

I am a woman

I rise above the highest mount, on hind’s feet guided by Him,
I rise above the sparkling stars that shine ever so bright,
For I have been chosen, called out of darkness,
Into His marvelous light.
AND YET, I STILL RISE

The Treasure Within

My purpose is to enlighten your way,
To guide you with spiritual wisdom and encourage you to pray.
Take back what the devil has stolen from you,
And trust that Gods’ word will see you through.
I am a woman, who loves truth and hate sin,
Understanding ones needs, from the treasure within.

Empowered, by the grace of my Lord,
I learned to balance things in life; because it had become hard.
Just knowing that we can depend on His Holy word,
Success will follow our endeavors and our voices will be heard.
I am a trustworthy woman, one who’s born again,
Sharing my time and talents, from the treasure within.

Accept life’s journeys, one day at a time,
Leave your cares and worries to our Lord, the Divine.
Embrace one another and fill your heart with peace,
While bonding in the mist of pain, all fears will cease.
I’m a woman inspired, to encourage you to win,
Guiding you with courage, from the treasure within.

What’s your first impression of someone like me?
What do you acknowledge, what do you see?
Look deeper that the eyes reveal,
For my heart is equipped with virtuous zeal.
I am a woman, who is a committed friend,
Emitting love, from THE TREASURE WITHIN

Happy Holy New Years

All y
All you Christian soldiers gather round as you leave 2010,
If your struggles led to failures and you don’t know where to begin,
A new year is waiting with a one way ticket to heaven,
Guiding you faithfully into 2011.

H-Hope is what the New Year brings, when you put your trust in God.

A-Able is your Savior when you’ve failed at what you start.

P-Patience is what you need when you’re planning a new goal.

P-Peace should reside in you because nothing but the blood will calm your soul.

Y-The yoke of Christ is easy; leave your burdens in the past.

N-Nearer is your Lord to you as you walk in the newness of life, loving your neighbors as you pray, tithe and
 fast.

E-Evaluate your lives Christians and with His Word fill your cup.

W-Wait I say, wait on the Lord and never ever give up.

Y-Yearn for His Holiness and put God first in all that you do.

E-Everyday my Christian friends all things will be possible unto you.

A-All it takes is prayer my friends, then reap the joy that prayer brings.

R-Remember what you’ve always known, and that is, “ Prayer Changes Things”.

S-So if you want a new beginning and your voice is faintly heard, stop and listen Christian soldiers, and harken to His Word.

Quote

“We all have a purpose in life and no matter what that purpose is and no matter how many obstacles are put before us, we will eventually come to the realization of what that purpose is and graciously accept what God whats us to do in life."

Last Night I Prayed

Last night I prayed,
For all of my friends,
Even though they are few,
For their health and well-being,
I prayed for their happiness too.
I prayed for you.

Last night I prayed,
For the family that I love,
Because we honor and glorify and praise the same God,
And to trust God, during trials, that their suffering won’t last,
I prayed for you, for you I fast.

Last night I prayed,
For the children of the world,
For each precious boy and each wonderful girl,
To be granted a spirit of love and generosity,
With a mind that is clear,
And a heart that is pure,
With arms opened wide to embrace the world courageously,
I prayed for you, graciously.

Last night I prayed,
For my soul mate in life,
To thank God for granting,
My prayers as his wife,
My sunshine, my light,
I prayed for you last night.

Last night I prayed,
For my church,
For the members who pray for a blessing indeed,
And for the enlarging of our territory to succeed,
To put joy in every heart,
And from our faith we shall not part,
I prayed for us to God.

Last night I prayed,
For love and peace,
For wars to cease,
For good to win,
To be rid of sin,
For hate to lose,
Last night I prayed, it’s time to choose.

Last night I prayed,
Just, because.

A Savior is Born

In the days of Caesar Augustus,
When the entire world was taxed,
Joseph traveled out of Nazareth, with Mary at his side,
Into the city of Bethlehem,
They never lost their stride.

Mary was great with child,
While in the city of David,
And during her visit,
Her days were accomplished,
And a baby boy was delivered.

Mary brought forth her first born son,
And wrapped Him in swaddling clothes,
She laid Him in a manger,
For in the Inn, there was no room.

There were shepherds in the field that night,
Watching over their flock till morn,
When the angel of the Lord came upon them,
All around, His glory was shone.

The shepherd’s reaction was that of fear,
Until the angel said to them,
Fear not:  For behold,
I bring good tidings and great joy,
For each and everyone to hear.

Unto you is born, in the city of David,
A Savior, which is Christ the Lord,
And as a sign, you shall behold,
A babe lying in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes.

Suddenly, along with the angel
Appeared a multitude of heavenly host,
Praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest,
Peace on earth, Good will toward men, was their heavenly boast.

A son was born, a child was given,
We call Him, Wonderful, Counselor, The Everlasting Father,
We call Him, The Mighty God, The Prince of Peace,
We call Him, Savior.

Survivor

Strength-Like a dream I’m drifting toward my darkest hour,
But in my hands I hold no power; I’m just a flower,
He tells me to be of good courage and to wait,
For He shall strengthen my heart, I am strong in my faith.
Ps. 27:14

Understanding-Don’t know how much my soul can bear,
But I know He carries me when my footsteps are not there,
I pray for understanding according to His word,
It gives me a peace of mind knowing my voice was heard.
Ps. 119:169

Rejoice-I rejoice in the knowledge that I no longer have fear,
When my body is strickened, wounded or smeared,
My help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth,
I sing praises to Him and thank Him for my birth.
Ps. 124:8

Vessel-I am not all that I ought to be, for God is not done with me yet,
His precious love fills me each day, a presence I won’t forget,
If my body, His vessel, suffers for the sake of His name,
I will lift my hands to heaven, praising Him with no shame.
Acts 9:15-16

Infirmity-I stretch my hands to my Father above,
Who filled me with kindness, peace and love,
He has taken my infirmities and my sickness to bare,
He touched me, now I know that He cares.    Matt. 8:17

Victory-Born into a world of sin,
My life was changed, I’m born again,
Born of God, the world I overcame,
Sweet victory through faith, I’m no longer the same.
 I John 5:4

Open-My soul is joyous and bursting with praise,
He has opened my eyes; He has lengthened my days,
I see wonderful, marvelous works in my sight,
The Lord is good for His light shines bright.
Ps. 119:18

Regeneration-Not by our righteousness, are we saved, or the work that we’ve done,
But only by His mercy; by the washing of regeneration,
Our Savior generously gave His life; we are healed by His stripes,
With hope of inheriting eternal life, we won’t give up the fight.
Titus 3:5, 8
