Floating Free

Imagine being all alone,
And floating ever so free,
Feeling warm and weightless,
Until sleep embraces thee.

Imagine being able,
To grow a bit each day,
To kick, stretch, yawn and sleep,
With never a word to say.

Imagine hearing melodious music,
And the utterance of voices close by,
And wonder where they’re coming from,
And even wonder, why?

Imagine floating in darkness,
And all around you cannot see,
But you can feel the love and care,
Imagine floating free.
What is this existence?  What is this entity?
